Forbidden Love was inspired by a real connection that felt intense, complicated, and impossible to ignore. It explores what happens when love exists in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the emotional cost of holding on when you know you shouldn’t.
Writing this story was tough. Not only did I have to relive some of the real moments over and over again, but turning a true story into fiction without losing its heart was a challenge.
I wanted to do the real people justice while creating a story that could stand on its own. Staying true to their voices, emotions, and experiences while weaving them into a fictional world wasn't always easy.
By the end, I wanted nothing more than for Jacob and Isabella to be together. Even now, a part of me still hopes they'll get their happily ever after.
Because not all love stories are meant to end in happily ever after. I wanted the ending to feel real, where love is still there, but timing, fear, and choices get in the way. It’s about choosing yourself, even when it hurts.
Not right now. Forbidden Love ends as it was lived. If the real story ever takes a different direction, I may explore that journey in a future book, but for now, this is where it stands.
Harvest Moon is a dark psychological thriller that follows two intertwined stories.
A young girl is abducted and held captive in a remote cabin, where she endures years of physical and psychological abuse. Desperate to escape, she risks everything to save not only herself but the other girls trapped alongside her.
Meanwhile, eighteen-year-old Luna sets out to find her birth mother. What begins as a personal search soon uncovers a chilling trail of missing girls spanning decades—girls who all share a striking resemblance to her.
As the two stories collide, long-buried secrets come to light, and Luna discovers that some truths are far more dangerous than she ever imagined.
